In other news, Bulbapedia is claiming Japan will be receiving the games sometime this winter. It's probably an error, but I'm trying to ask the admin who implemented that edit. |

Sorry for the double-post, but someone posted this leak exactly one week before the official announcement. He's been right about the game titles and the region inspiration so far. Let's see if he gets the rest right. Also...  I really want her to be a main character! SO KAWAII! |

It's probably taken out of the Japanese Pokemon Direct, given how the American one said "Late 2019" and that's what the other regions say. Some of them are rather major, if I recall correctly. Not like top-20 major, but probably top-100. |

I really wish they would stop giving every cool thing to Charizard and Mewtwo (considering they both already have two Megas each), but still, this is actually possible. Also, she is a main character. Of the games, I mean. XD The anime will be kind of dependent on what other characters will be revealed for these games. I mean, Hilda, Luna, and Leaf all got passed up just to have some gym leader girl be used (for better, or for worse in the case of Iris). I suppose it is possible and I would love to have her in the main cast. Oh, yeah, has anyone else noticed how much more expressive the player characters seem? There’s much less deadpan face this time around. |

Of course, this doesn't really help much, because by the time the games are out, the anime would already be announced and likely set to air within a week. |

That actually explains a lot. Well, we don’t know anything just yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see. So looking closer at the map of the Galar region (I keep on almost typing Galah when typing that. XD) I come to the conclusion that it's not just based off of the UK. It's the UK but upside down. Looks that way. I can even make out certain landmarks that I'm familiar with. Which is...an odd feeling. Looks like Ireland wasn't invited though. Good.I just realized that you technically have a home region. Too bad you now live in a region that doesn’t currently exist. XD Sadly, it’s the same for many of us. DXAlso, I have to say I really like this region thus far. I like the whole idea of it being an industrial region, and the aesthetics and sights just look so cool. Really looking forward to playing these games and coming up with a potential future arc for Fusion Warriors once I finally get a writing plan together. |

Something I just realized, anyone who is opposed to hacking in Pokemon games should consider themselves pretty happy, because these games are going to be very hard to hack because of how the Switch manages save data. Granted, I can think of attacks and ways around it, but it wouldn't be anywhere close to as easy as before. A man-in-the-middle attack or a DNS attack or firmware data spoofing could work but it's doubtful it would last, and the only sure way I can think of would require two Switches, two copies of the game, and manually trading everything.
