I just realized Scorbunny is a soccer/football bunny. That is amazing.

Eh, the region itself looks beautiful... but I'm not a big fan of the starters. Eh, I wasn't a big fan of Unova's starters either, so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Also, where was the transition from colors/gems to letters to... weapons? Porque?
If I wasn't already getting a Switch (for Three Houses *cough* more like Three Heroes *cough*), I'd probably give the games a pass. But... since I am... I'm sure I'll pick one of them up. Probably Shield, in reference to how often I play defensive/support characters.

Plus, since they’re based off of the UK, which has a lot of ties to knights and such, more so than France, Sword and Shield makes sense. That being said... If you can’t catch Honedge in these games, I’m going to be a little miffed.

Something a commenter on Youtube pointed out that I also find strange: Shield is red, and Sword is blue, when traditionally red symbolizes aggression/offense and blue symbolizes defense/strategy. Is there a meaning there, or did they just slap random colors on? Though I guess it wouldn't be too random, since the original games are red/blue/green + yellow.

A side-by-side look at our player characters, who I will be referring to as Ken and Shi respectively until we get official names for them.

Hmm, will the Queen be a hidden trainer? XD Nah, she’ll be the Champion and her partner will be some sort of corgi Pokémon.

UK. It’s pretty obvious to me, but I understand the confusion.

UK. It’s pretty obvious... And you're not saying this because you're British yourself, right? Jokes aside, I was hoping for a Scandinavian-inspired region. But still, this looks awesome!

Well, as I corrected myself earlier, I understand the confusion. Though, some of the architecture, fashion, the region shape, and the soccer stuff fit the U.K. a lot more. I’ve done some studying on it before. Plus, we kind of got Scandinavian stuff in X and Y.

I noticed that one of the cities resembles the Azoth Kingdom from Movie 19, all the way down to the gears used for buildings. Interesting...
