This is something I've been wanting to do for a while now--a hack that rebalances several Pokémon in Gen @7. I started work on this last week and the results thus far seem promising. I'll link some images below to give you all a better idea of what exactly I've done thus far. Keep in mind I'm still experimenting so nothing you see there is set in stone. But the main reason I'm bringing this up is to ask you guys a question: What Pokémon do you think deserve to be rebalanced in some way? It can involve changing their types, abilities, stats, movepools, anything. I want to take Pokémon which might not seem useful now and give them a bit of love, so throw me some suggestions! You can find the album of Pokémon I'm working on right here.Direct links to some of what I've done:  I know everyone wants Midnight Lycanroc to be part dark, but at least now it gets STAB from Counter...I think...  Where is your Arceus now?  Tauros and Bouffalant have nearly identical movesets, so why not?   It's a dragonfly. Eh? Eh? |

I don't know about "best Mon" but Pichu will definitely be getting reworked. Even in Little Cup it can't do much without Volt Tackle, and we need our mini mascot to hold his own, right? As for a completely custom story, it's definitely possible, but a little out of my realm of expertise. I do know that it's possible to edit trainer names, so I'd love to pay homage to anyone who wants to be mentioned. |

I would say.... 'HELL YES' and then ask to be inserted in the game. My legacy will live on forever. Are you making any changes to it? I'll make sure to name one of the trainers Moomoo XD The main focus of it is rebalancing the game. Tweaking some Pokémon to be a bit more useful, changing types around a bit, making Pokémon that should evolve into others actually evolve into them *Cough* Luvdisc *Cough* that kind of thing. So the main thing that drove me to start this project was Solrock and Lunatone. Everyone expected them to have some sort of role in Sun and Moon because, well, they're the sun and the moon! Instead, not only was there nothing special for them in the games, they weren't even included unless you used Pokémon Bank. With this in mind I decided I needed to give these two a makeover. Unfortunately I can't do anything as elaborate as give them mega forms, but I did the next best thing--I changed up their typing and abilities.  Both of them can still have Levitate, but Solrock's primary ability is now Solar Power...because sunlight...  I wasn't sure what ability to give Lunatone, but I eventually decided on Magic Guard. If anyone has a better suggestion for its primary ability, this definitely isn't final. Another important note with these two is that I'm experimenting with having both of them as Minior evolutions. Not only does that give them access to some key attacks in Minior's movepool, but the three just go together really well in my opinion.  As expected, using the Sun Stone gives you Solrock, while using the Moon Stone gives you Lunatone.    So, thoughts on these changes? Is there anything you would change or do differently? I'd love to hear everyone's feedback. |

It's always seemed weird to me that not even Golduck had it despite their obvious psychic connections. Second is the great Charizard debate (And I guess this sort of extends to Gyarados as well.) There are a lot of arguments in favor of swapping both of their flying types for dragon, but I'm a bit hesitant. For Charizard, it does get the type change when it mega evolves, so I don't know that I want to take something special like that away from it. Also that would mean losing its ground immunity, which means Earthquake would murder it. As for Gyarados, I'm still on the fence about it. The reason why there were so few dragon Pokemon initially is that...well it used to be ridiculously strong. Nowadays things are a bit more balanced, but...I dunno. If the general consensus is that it would be better with dragon that's probably what I'll do. |

I think the original reason for Gyarados not being dragon was because of how rare dragon types were in the first game. They resisted a lot of common types and the only trainers who even had them were Lance and a few ace trainers, and being able to get one as soon as you get a fishing rod would likely have been extremely broken at the time. |

So it looks like you can edit the in-game trades for the games. Don't mind if I do! Album:  This girl in the Pokemon Center on Route 2 normally trades you a Machop, but that would be boring, wouldn't it?  Oooh, a Vulpix? I wouldn't mind having one this early on.  A quick trip through Route 2 to catch a Spearow and it's time to trade!  But surprise! It's a Vulpix from Kanto!  Yep, this is the only way to get a fire type Vulpix in Alola!  But there's one more surprise in store. Let's evolve our Vulpix into a beautiful Ninetales.  Ninetales is now part psychic. Finally a way to make use of those psychic powers it has. So that's a pretty cool possibility. What do you guys think about this? |
