What I really want from Sun and Moon, the three main things:
Get rid of the mushy friendship battles, and give me back my rival. No, not some crappy rival like that guy from D&P, and someone not as dull as Charon. I want the kind of rival like Silver/Gary, where their intention is to kick the player into the dirt and cry. They want to win, they want to be the best, and they won't let the player get in their way. Whether they end up a friend or foe in the end, an actual rival is what I want. We can have a sort of sidekick like Sapphire/Ruby or Bianca, but at the end of the day I want someone to compete against all the way through.
Let me re-battle the gym leaders, because in a lot of the games the gym leaders are PATHETIC. The hardest gym leaders, IMO, were say Brock, Misty, Whitney (Stupid Miltank), and that one ghost-type dude in Johto. Everyone else were pushovers. So let me see them at their greatest, make me feel like they deserve to be called gym leaders!
Give the villains an actually reasonable history and motive... like Hoenn's was stupid and Sinnoh's was... what exactly? To me, the best villain team was Plasma, and they were just... well, evil hiding behind good intentions. I get that Pokemon is mainly a child's game, but... since they pull a lot of the plot's weight, I'd love to actually get invested in what's going on besides my normal reaction: "Oh... more grunts? Free EXP!!! ... Oh, and more... and more..."

Yeah, an artist in Britain created some of 5th Gen Mons like Golurk. Was he kept on, or was that a one-time thing? Yes he was. He actually designed the E-shop game by Game Freak Harmoknight. |

I absolutely want him back. You mean Golurk? Never used him, so I could care less. Same with Trevenant. They were two Pokemon that, IMO, were annoying/difficult to obtain. (though I suppose Golett wasn't too bad with X and Y's addition) |
