Same. I mean, do I want to know about the new Mons? Totally. I would love to see what the starters look like and the legendaries, too. With the legendaries, it gives me a good sense of what game I might make my main, but the starters make me imagine what they might become. The legendaries decide the games, case and point XD Except X and Y, where the megas also influenced purchases of either game (like how I wanted Mega Aggron XD) Eh, for me, the Megas didn't really influence me. I actually prefer Charizard Y over X, but I chose X Version as a main because I liked Xerneas' design and most other people wanted Y at the time. |

I love knowing nothing for game series that I love. That way I don't get so hyped. For example, Fire Emblem Fates was getting leaked out the whazoo, and I got reallllly excited for the release. And then it actually came out, and I ended up overall disappointed.
In other words, we already know what to expect from a Pokemon game, everything else is extra. So be happy to experience it firsthand instead of from leaks.

I honestly have no idea what starter I'm going with. It tends to be in order from Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Turtwig, Tepig, and Froakie. Logic states I should pick the Grass-type, but I want to see them all first. As well, I tend to pick starters based on whatever a friend of mine picks.
