For a person whos been (somewhat) into competitive battling for a while... I never really understood/cared for the tier system
If someone could give me a quick explanation about this then I would love to hear it.

I would go for an all out assault vested special attacker. 130 sp att is pretty good along with 110 base defense stats is pretty good. |

Well, tiers are divided in many groups.
Ubers, OverUsed, Underused, rarelyused, neverused, anything goes, random battle, double battles and some other tiers which no one gives a shit about.
OU is the most famous. It's also the toughest, in my opinion.
You might ask, whats the point of these tiers?
Well, these tiers will give you a restriction to the Pokémon u can use. For instance, most of the strongest Pokémon are clasified in the ubers tier, You cant use them in any other tier. These tiers also have some specific rules.
Similarly, all the Pokémon are classified into specific tiers. You cant use a Pokémon of a higher tier in a lower tier. Like, you cant use Arceus in OU or UU or any other tiers.
But a Pokémon of a lower tier can be used in a higher tier. Like, you can even use magicarp in Ubers if you want XD
Then theres a anything goes tier. It's unofficial, but it's fun. Here, anything is possible. You can even make a team with six Darkrais. No rules are applicabe here.
At first I also thought tiers were pointless. But later I understood that these tiers give the freedom to use your favorite Pokémon which is not great stats wise.

I would go for an all out assault vested special attacker. 130 sp att is pretty good along with 110 base defense stats is pretty good. Hmmm... but I already have Lapras, which seems to be the better alternative. Maybe I should give up on Glaceon. I would still go with Glaceon, it still seems to be the best option to me. They are both slow, and even though Lapras seem bulkier, going offensive with Glaceon seems to be a good idea. The defensive team could work though. Throw in Abomasnow for hail and use defensive Pokémon that have decent synergy and can benefit or at the very least are not hurt by hail. Now that I say it, I wanna try it. I might work on a hail team. It sucks though, hail has always been the weaker of all weather conditions. I do remember getting blown back by a hail team while back, but I was still new to competitive. It's hard, but making a decent hail team shouldn't be impossible. Ok, who here dislikes that Hawlucha gets no love? Only me?
