What about it? I haven't watched it nor do I ever plan to because I don't watch Gundam for "To be a Master" style anime. Pretty much... It's kinda popular to the fans and plus to the ones who also build their own plastic models. The creators seems to be pushing it to the gunpla market too. With some of the latest gunpla being centered around this to boot, new fans(and builders) looks to love this one. |

Episode 5 of Iron Blooded Orphans. Where SPPPPAAAAACCCEEEEE!!! happens. Also, we learn the moon was damaged in the calamity war. That would explain the name at least. Earth would get messed up something fierce if the moon was damaged.

It also looks like this series is running under the same idea as... Turn A Gundam in that other Gundam series have occurred before this one. They mention that Gundams have showed up at key points in history before. It probably explains why Australia has large chunk blown out of it at least. |
