Depends on what you're looking for. Hmm... on the shorter side, or whichever season had the most interesting plot in your opinion. Gundam 00 Season 1 is a good choice. It's modern looking, has an interesting plot and has hot women and even hotter men. And if you like it, you can move on to Season 2. If you're fine with a Gundam show not having too much action but instead focusing on a bratty kid that gets caught in the tragedies of war and is only 5 episodes long, check out War in the Pocket. You don't need to understand the larger plot of the war which is explained in orignal Gundam anime to understand the story. |

Am I the only person who prefer Gundam 00 over Gundam SEED? I haven't seen either but I've been in the fandom long enough to tell you that you aren't alone in that opinion. Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny from what I understand is a bit of a love it or hate it type thing. RJW seems to like it though so there's that at least. |

So I finished watching Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. I liked it. It does start out kinda silly (it's first OP is called "This is not a cartoon" for crying out loud) but I thought it was interesting. Then it got better around the Cecilia two parter. Like alot better. The last few episodes of the series which was pretty much a three-way conflict had me at the edge of seat. So, yeah. Overall I enjoyed it. Plus Judau can deliver one hell of a punch. Kudos to Bright for taking it like a man. |

I finished watching the Gundam EVOLVE shorts. Despite the fact that there's only subs for the first 5 episodes I still enjoyed them.

I just finished ordering Mobile Suit Gundam (The first Gundam series) and should be here by next week. I'm looking forward to watching it.

The first few episodes are amazing. Each one takes place immediately after the previous one, making the first feeel like one big movie taking place within the time frame of a couple of days. It's great. Then it slows down a bit. THe middle part is rather dull and very episodic (ie, new Zeon mobile suit/armour is developed, Amuro battles it and wins) but by the end, it's back to being amazing.
