Just a heads up. Just because Pokemon fans consider Pokemon Adventures to be one of the best adaptions of the games it doesn't mean that it follows the games 100%. Don't consider what happens in them cannon to the games.

Don't know, and honestly don't really care much for that... It was the Kanto-games that got me hooked, Hoenn (except for the anime) never gave me that big of an impression... It was mainly Kanto and Johto.
