Hmm... Very interesting. And from the looks of it, Red's going to get Charmander. This should be really interesting. I think that the two anime series will work well with one another. I just kind of hope that Blue/Green (Girl) shows up in this series.

Well you have to remember, Red starts with a Charmander while Green gets the Squirtle and Blue gets the Bulbasaur.
But this does give credibility that the Ash version might be replaced. The only question is if it's a standalone series or just a few episodes.

And if it does succeed, as the few episodes we'll most likely get, they'll probably expand it with the others such as Gold/Ethan then to Brendan, etc. |

Either they're changing it up, or that's Green/Blue's Charmander. |
