Shiny Pokemon

This is where we disscus our encounters with shiny Pokemon. Fixed Shiny encounters don't count. (e.g. the red Gyarardos in The lake of Rage)

So how many shiny Pokemon have you guys met? How many of them did you catch? Do you still have them?

In Crystal: Shiny Wooper

In Ruby and Sapphire and Emerald: Shiny Groudon, Shiny Electrike, Shiny Zubat, Shiny Girafarig.

In Diamond and Pearl: Shiny Bidoof

In Black and White: Shiny Boldore, Shiny Deino

I've encountered two Shiny Pokémon:
The first was the game Pokemon Fire Red. I found a Shiny Caterpie. I was so excited because it's my first Shiny Pokémon, I actually got too excited that I dropped my gameboy and the game froze and I lost all non-saved data. I just sat there like "What Just Happened?"
The second time was in Pokémon Emerald. I was actually looking for Latios and Latias. But to get to the city they were located in I had to swim to the city. I then was stopped by a Pokémon. It was a shiny Tentacool, I caught her, But it was tough. I wondered "Were Shiny Pokémon tougher than Non-Shiny Pokémon?"

I guess that I should talk about some of my shiny Pokemon experiences.

The first shiny I found was when me and my brother were playing Pokemon Gold and we were climbing up Tin Tower. BAM! Shiny Ratatta. Naturally we accidentaly fainted it. Next time we were searching a for a wild Shuckle. BAM! Shiny Krabby. Once again we accidentaly fainted it. The third time though we were lucky. My brother was just wandering around in Ilex forest, headbutting trees all board like when he suddenly found a shiny Caterpie. This time he caught it. We still have it actually in the form of a pinkish Butterfree.

I have gotten a shiny illumise twice. Once in sapphire, and once in diamond. i think that's it but i haven't played any pokemon game in foever so.. i'm not 100% sure those are my only shinies

My first shiny was in Platinum. I was training something and I came across a shiny Rhydon. And then in White I found both a shiny Spearow and a shiny Jigglypuff. and in Black 2 a shiny... uh... I forgot what it was called. The dragon thing that doesn't evolve.

And if there were other things I don't remember.

Plus I've gotten plenty of Shinies through trade. Just spend a few hours in Trade. xD

I once hatched a Shiny Elekid in Crystal, I caught a shiny Magikarp and a Shiny Poochyena in Emerald, a shiny Gyarados in Silver, and I found a shiny Nidorino once in the FireRed Safari Zone, but it ran away before I could catch it.

Yeah, like I had a friend who hatched a Shiny Porygon right before my eyes.

Currently in my box I have two Shiny Gengars (one named Bacon, a gift from Matt ) a shiny Zoroak, Charizard, Caterpie, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Mewtwo, whatever Boldore evolves into... and I think I'm forgetting something but am too lazy to look.

I am currently looking for a Shiny Golurk with the ability Iron Fist (I've been offered tons of Golurks but for some reason none have had Iron Fist but instead Klutz -__-) and a Shiny Shroomish (or a Shiny Breloom with the move that puts opponents to sleep and has 100% accuracy)

Well if we include that I have over 80 shinies in all Pokemon games. All puesdo legends, flygon, all eeveeloutions but leafeon, ditto, 7 starters and most of the legendaries are the only ones I remember off by heart

Oh, yeah, and I forgot to mention the dozens of shinies that I caught on a friend's game, but forgot to trade them to my game. We were hacking a lot that day. XD

Oh and the first shiny I found was a sandslash in Pokemon leaf green.
