I actually finished watching the "My Hero Academia" movie online. I absolutely LOVED IT!

Although I wish all of Class 1-A was in on the action rather than just a select few. Some of the characters were neglected and it was pretty painful.

Anime is defined by animation originating from Japan, so I would say this series, specifically, would count as an anime.
