@lucifer
Uh, wouldn't I already get something as a fly slave before that point then? Skarm is near the legend badge

Yoh - Yeah there's a little bit of a gap in between getting the HM and Skarmory but I just used Madibuzz until then.
I think you're worrying too much about how hard it'll be. As long as you follow the one rule that's been present since Gen I - in that you have at least a couple Pokemon with Ice and/or Dragon-Type attacks by the time you get to the Elite Four - you'll make it through without much problem. You can build any team you like and at most you might have trouble with one or two gyms along the way, maybe even try one you didn't originally consider using. I found Scrafty to be surprisingly good and he turned into my fallback Pokemon instead of my starter until Metagross came around for the rematch, and even then he's still one of top. You can ask anyone here that's beat the game and they'll agree that the first time through the Elite Four was rather pathetic.
When you start getting deeper into the PWT and the challenge mode Elite Four rematch then you need to start worrying about type match-ups and particular Pokemon to use.
Aura - I actually just found the time for beating the Elite Four. It was close to what I thought, 21 hours.
Midnight - Okay so to give a quick idea over Electric-Types there's about 7 non-legendaries worth while to use. For attack: Electivire, Eelectross, Luxray, and Zebrastrike SpAtk: Magnezone, Pikachu, and Raichu. Pikachu and Raichu are equal in Atk and SpAtk but they're a bit limited in physical attacks, while Zebrastrike and Luxray interestingly enough don't have that great of a physical moveset. When it comes to using one of them as a more tanky type the only one that really worthwhile outside of taking a few SpAtks is Eelectross thanks to him being immune to Ground-Type attacks.
Most of the time it's just better to give ThunderPunch or Thunderbolt to a non-Electric-Type.

Meh, a little odd by the fact that you were actively trying to catch that many but while I was breeding I literally had boxes full of various Pokemon. Pretty much every one of them just got released in the end.
