Why fish for that. You can just fish up a Dragonite instead. I did that on Black. Took me a week to find though.

Nah.... and besides a lot fo the pokemon are "over-leveled" so it's easy to evolve them.

So I was browsing around the hidden hollows looking for Pokemon I don't have yet and guess what I find? Another freaking shiny Cottonee! I am on a roll!

I told my brother about EV training. He got his Pearl and gave it a go. He was training his Sheildon and within 2 levels he got 18 def points.

Sighh.

Well i got my Arcanine now, now just need some BP from Choice Scarf. I have it holding metronome at the moment. lol.

Damn, I love it when things go like that and you see the huge numbers at each level.

Well I don't doubt that some of you already have them but I have a bit of an update on the charms. After still failing to get my R4 card I just temporarily stole my friend's for a while so that I can get those duplicates. Apparently by the looks of it you only need to catch the 300 in Unova to get the charms and has nothing to do with the National Dex. I could be wrong with this considering I had both complete (sans Darkrai, Arceus, Shayman, and Melotta) but the professor only praised me for the Unvoa Dex so that's why I'm assuming it.

And just fyi, you need to talk to her twice to get both charms. She'll give you one each time.

Not this generation at least. He's now one of the last ones of us who bought the new Black/White 2 to not find one in the game.

Meh, it all depends on how much time you put into it and what Pokemon you pick up. If I went with Oshawat again instead of Snivy I could have cut back my time even further by not having to build up Jellicant and having an easier time with the first trainers. Grass-Types are useful almost solely for their moves and the ones that are Grass only are even harder to really utilize further.

Simply put don't worry about it.

And Pichu, if you want to find a shiny that bad just work on your Unova Dex and get the Shiny Charm. That'll speed things up considerably.

I suppose that's true, but I've been kind of busy. I'm trying to get some work done on my stories this week before I have to deal with finals next week.
