A decent one is simply Unfezant. Good speed and attack, average defense, but bad SpDef. Skarmory is a good tank but overall not that great in attacking and is rather slow for a Flying-Type.
When it comes to the initial playthrough though as long as you hit up on a few types you'll be good. Personally I liked using Scraggy considering he covers both Dark and Fighting for the Elite Four and can counter a large number of types. He's on the slow side but those defenses are stupidly good. Volcarona is another solid choice overall, Quiver Dance is one of the most ovepowered buffing moves in the game...

In that case, give your Samurot Ice Beam. Beats flying and dragon along with another couple types. Not many good Electric-Types in Gen V so your best bet in that direction is Jolteon.

But then again Ice Beam on a Water-Type with a good Special Attack is virtually a standard anyways so that's probably not much help.

Look, I said both. Also, how far do u need to be in order to get an ice beam tm? In black and white, it wasn't until the aftergame right?
Also, no skarm. I learned about that blunder after my soulsilber run

Either way it doesn't matter to me, just ask and I'll try to do my best.
The Ice Beam TM is once again in Giant Chasm but you get into it before the Elite Four and after the 8th gym I think.
Any Rock-Type attacks are also great offensive attacks including against flying. Several TMs give Rock-Type attacks and various Pokemon learn these attacks as well. If need be just use Terrakion, both Rock and Fighting-Types.
Well Unfazant still stands as a good all rounder. Another would be Gliscor. Tanky but still good enough attack and speed to be useful. Pichu used Mantine on his team I think. Outside of Skarmory then there isn't many other decent Flying-Types. Well if you have the add-on for 3DS you can get the Kami trio to use them as well.

Luci: Oops, i meant Yanmega is good enough. I must of put a typo somewhere.
I was thinking for a eletric type or something to counter rock or ice.
I was looking through my PC box and saw i have a Modest Victini. I was wondering in training it but most people don't like training legendaries, they always say their OP. If you ask me Raquaza is OP and i don't see anyone complaining. :/

Yoh - Sry, I'm just trying to help. You just aren't explaining yourself well enough. As far as I knew you were trying to figure out a team to use for battles. For battling the only HM that is ever really used is Surf and sometimes Waterfall so I never even considered if they could use Fly. But if you want an HM slave Skarmory is one of the best you can get, even if you don't build up him, thanks to it learning both Fly and Cut. Get one with the Sturdy ability so you can swap him in and get a full two turns to use items to bring back your other battlers. Giving your starter a free second chance is quicker and easier than trying to build up a brand new Pokemon.
Midnight - Ah, yeah I think I took that in a bit of the wrong direction. My mistake.
I'm going to go to sleep soon so I'll cover this a bit better later if you want but as for beating Rock and Ice types, Fighting is a good counter. Super effective against both as well as several others. It's considered one of the best offensive types along with Rock and Ground, the first of which is also good against Ice-Types. All of them also have good TMs associated with their type (Brick Break, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Earthquake, among others) so you can put them on a reliable sweeper you already have, you just might not get the STAB.
As for Victini, I think he would be fun using personally. He is really one of the "lesser legendaries" and not all that OP compared to the real big ones but has a better moveset compared to the others like Mew and Celebi. I'll have to check what nature mine is, although I don't think it's as good as the one you have. Not to mention he's probably the best personal mascot you could ask for in a Pokemon, getting close in looks compared to Eevee and the myth of him brining great luck to his trainer.
