I've been doing a Nuzlocke of Fire Red. I found a shiny Geodude. F*** yeah.

I can hardly ever find Shinies. But then again, I can hardly find Pokemon because of my personal rule to not catch the same Pokemon. Too many Pidgey.

i started a nuzlocke challenge and died on the first battle one time. i am gonnna try a wedlocke challenge though

Well, right now, I'm playing what I call a Baseball Nuzlocke on my White 2. Basically, instead of my Pokemon dying if they faint once, they're allowed to be on my team until they've fainted three times. Three strikes, and then they're out. I have to retire them to the PC box and I'm not allowed to use them again.
I know it sounds like it's just an easy way to get out of losing a Pokemon every time they faint, but I've actually already had to retire my Leavanny (Kevin) and my Minccino (Mr. Clean) after a screw up against Clay. And my Watchog (Timon), my Azumarill (Mariah), my Crobat (Barbara), and my Trapinch (Terry) all have two strikes. Then, my Dewott (Anakin) and my Zorua (No nickname since it was N's) both have one strike each. The rest of my Pokemon don't have any strikes (mainly because I don't use most of them), but I use my Magnezone (Jarvis) a lot, and he's a total beast.

I played a Wedlocke challenge on my HeartGold. Yea it's pretty tough. I got bored and quited before I took on Blue, last guy before heading to Red. By that time I started playing Pokemon White 2 so thats why.

I recently started a Nuzlocke on my Emerald. I've currently got two badges and have lost my Wurmple, my Whismur, and my Tentacool, but I finally have a full team. Here's my current team:
Nemo (Marshtomp) Lvl 20 Male
Lassie (Mightyena) Lvl 20 Female
Polly (Wingull) Lvl 20 Female
Sid (Vigoroth) Lvl 20 Male
Bruce (Makuhita) Lvl 20 Male

I'd probably recommend one of the Gen 3 games. They're always good games to start with. As for the starter, can't really recommend one since everyone's style is different.

Alrighty then, I've almost finished my Nuzlocke run of Fire Red. I just need to finish leveling my party for the elite 4 post national-dex rematch. Here's my party:

Remeber how I mentioned that I'm a lucky bastard? The first Pokemon I found on Route 14 was a mutha fuckin' Ditto! This can only mean that every other Nuzlocke run I do after this one will end in tragedy.
