It does look like it'll be set in a feudal Japan-style era of Sinnoh. The ancient Poké Balls seem to be a dead giveaway to that.

We've got some new info on the games! It doesn't look like it's much from what I'm seeing on Serebii, though.



Basically, Trainer customization and Seals will return in the games, while there will be no Ranked Battles.

The dpp remakes aren't that promising not much changes other than that underground thingy and contests made better. The arceus game looks cool tho, something new for Pokemon.

The new forms and Pokémon are for the Arceus game, not the remakes.

Forgot to cover this yesterday.

• The Pokétch returns with Dowsing Machine and more. It also allows for you to call wild Pokémon to use Hidden Moves like Cut or Rock Climb.
• Amity Square returns and allows you to walk with six of your Pokémon at a time, take photos, and more. You can have your Pokémon follow you after you have first come to the area.
• Poffins also return and can be made in both the Poffin House and Amity Square.

Previews for the games are being released, and with them, we have some new info.

• The game will now include Auto Save, which can be disabled.
• Experience Share is also back and affects all Pokémon, but like Sword & Shield, it cannot be turned off.
• The mechanics including QoL upgrades shown within past generations have also returned such as showing type effectiveness in battle.
• TMs are also single-use in the game, but there will be opportunities to get more.
• You can change the Pokémon in your party with Pokémon in storage at any time.
