I gave like all leaks possible and still you guys didn't trust ; ; To be fair I haven't trusted a leak in at least 3 years so you were fighting an uphill battle when it came to convincing me. |

I was so hyped for gen 4 remake. The possibilities like The creation trio getting a primal form, new forms for existing Pokemon and what not, I just hope that something comes out as real.

Someone needs to change the thread title now, LOL. Anyway... Brilliant Diamond & Shining PearlLegendsThe remakes will come out in 2021, while Legends will come out in early 2022. I've seen some confusion about this topic, so I'll clear any lingering doubts up: the remakes will retain the Sinnoh starter Pokémon, while Legends is the one that has that weird mix-up of starter Pokémon. Anyway, my reactions: - I'm absolutely stunned that they not only announced the remakes, but a brand-new game that also involves Sinnoh as the setting. It's like they decided to give the fans a double-whammy of new Gen IV stuff. It was a bit of a headache for me to comprehend at first, because I had just woken up, and I got confused when I saw Legends, thinking it was the remakes we've been clamoring for. I had to scroll down to get the other news.
 - I'm honestly worried about the remakes' quality. It doesn't seem like the developers tried with this one, and that it will essentially just be a copy-and-paste of the original games into a Switch format. The titles don't even sound all that inspired. I was hoping to see redesigns for Lucas, Dawn, and Barry, but we didn't even get that. Of course, it was just an announcement trailer, and I'm still itching to see what new stuff we'll learn as time goes along, but for now, I'm not impressed at all.
- Legends, on the other hand, I'm super-intrigued about. This was CLEARLY the game the developers had their time and commitment on the most. I've seen comments saying this should've been the Sword and Shield games and I agree. Can't wait to hear more about these games!

I’m honestly not really interested in the remakes, partly because I’m not a huge fan of the art style and I never actually played the originals (I have them, just haven’t played them yet. Might do a Nuzlocke on them, though). However, I don’t think they look that bad. Could have been way worse, to be honest.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are clearly one of the best Pokemon games, surprised you haven't played them... I also haven't played through them fully. I have played most of platinum in a nuzlocke that I lost at like the 7th badge and never finished. |

My parents had basically told me if I wanted them, I had to buy them myself. I bought them a couple of years back, but work, my social life, and D&D have kept me busy. I still haven’t finished my Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Double Nuzlocke I started when those games came out. XD 5th Gen was when I could start affording to buy my own games. |

Tbh I agree with Thanos here, not that much interested into BDSP, main cause is that for now, it doesn't really look that great, but.... Once it comes out we'll see, on the other hand, Legands look quite Decent, as for the starters, Cyndaquil is also quite Decent, of course that could have been better, but doesn't matter, the problem is..... Will the remakes be up to mark? Cuz the SwSh came out in 2019, an many people say they were rushed, so..... This is technically I feel is going to be more rushed up, then again, what now? Will there be a dex cut, if yes, then I'm not playing it for good, we also need to get Mega Evolution for some Mons, so for now, I'm not clearly 'happy', cuz Pokemon is releasing 3 Games (counting Snap) and the possibility is they all can be rushed up... |

Same here, I've just played Platinum, also not completed it, not sure how was DP, but I was impressed with Platinum, but Emrald is better for me... Then Platinum.... Tbh I think BDSP looks Rushed... |

Tbh, I’m actually more hyped for the dp remakes than I was expecting to be when rumors were going around before. I actually really like the way they made the art truly resemble a 3D version of an existing 2d game, even if it looks a bit strange. But that is in no way a bad strange.
