The never-before-seen Pokemon slated to be featured in the Let's Go! games may have been leaked. Do take this with a grain of salt, though. dafuq

It appeared in Pokémon Go yesterday for about half an hour, and while I didn’t find one myself, I did notice there were several somewhere near me. So, yeah. That seems to be a teaser for the new Pokémon, because when people caught it, it turned into Ditto or Chikorita or what have you.

We now have information on the new Pokemon!
It's called Meltan, is a Steel-type, and is classified as the Hex Nut Pokémon. It is a new mythical Pokémon, which will be available in Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! & Let's Go, Eevee! with a connection to Pokémon GO.
Guess we found the second star for that new Mewtwo movie.

They're really on a spree, sending out those trailers. \\
Master Trainers are strong Trainers dotted around all of Kanto, are of high level, and use a variety of unusual moves. No Items can be used in this battle and it lets you earn their title.

What I won't give to get that Omanyte Master title that one person appears to have in the thumbnail.

We have new info, courtesy of Serebii!
"Meltan's evolution has been revealed. This is a brand new Pokémon called Melmetal. It is also a Steel-type. In Pokémon GO it requires 400 Meltan Candy to evolve into Melmetal and can only evolve in Pokémon GO. You need to send Melmetal from Pokémon GO to get it in Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu & Let's Go, Eevee! Melmetal also has a new move called Double Iron Bash which strikes an opponent twice and can cause the opponent to flinch."

I’m going to be honest—I despise it when they make a Pokémon have to get 400 Candies for it to evolve. Because often these Mons aren’t justified in how much candy they need. I mean, Meltan makes sense being rare (though that just makes it even harder), but why Swablu of all things?
