Also, according to Serebii, the Pokémon Company gave us an update on the missing Mega Stones. Apparently, in late February, the Beedrillite and Mawilite will be entry gifts in an online competition. Other missing ones will be given out via similar means. I'll enter, if only to get the stones, but if they were going to make us purchase most of the Mega Stones at the Battle Tree anyway, why not just include all of them? It makes no sense to include some Mega Stones and not others. I get Mega Evolution isn't the big thing anymore, but you could always make it like how the means of changing legendary Pokémon's forms are available in every game somehow, such as Keldeo and Deoxys. Just my personal opinion.

Two days into the Bank update and I'm already seeing transfer-only Pokémon in Beast Balls online. What a world. That's unfortunate. Well, I have no means of hacking myself, so I'll just stick to the old breeding and training method myself. It makes it a bit more worthwhile anyway. Admittedly I use things like Powersaves and PKHex myself on occasion, but only to speed up things which I could have done on my own, and even then it's usually only for testing team compositions. It's when people use hacks to create Pokemon which couldn't possibly exist in real life that I get annoyed. |

If you're using hacks that only affect you personally that's one thing, but doing so to gain an advantage over other players is another. The emergence of cheats so early on has destroyed Gen 7's metagame. |
