Wouldn't advise that for the second season, should you choose to watch it. Apparently, it's something of an original animation, so accuracy to the source material will be almost non-existent.

But yes, it was quite enjoyable, Kaneki's whining aside.

I never watched the second season, is it good?

For some it is, but personally i wouldnt recommend it. Its alright if you watch the first two episodes though, because Kaneki's fight with Jason continues for the two episodes. Other than that, its pretty disappointing. I dont understand the last 4 episodes.

Ummm...I don't mean to offend any diehard fans...

But I honestly didn't like Tokyo Ghoul...

The first season just didn't make any sort of sense whatsoever

And in the second season...

Hide's death was just...pointless..

Why would we be sad over a character death who has only been shown three or four times in the entire second season...? I guess the fact that the part was shown while playing the opening theme, made it sorta emotional.

But meh, didn't like it.
