Ummm...I don't mean to offend any diehard fans... But I honestly didn't like Tokyo Ghoul... The first season just didn't make any sort of sense whatsoever And in the second season...
Hide's death was just...pointless..
Why would we be sad over a character death who has only been shown three or four times in the entire second season...? I guess the fact that the part was shown while playing the opening theme, made it sorta emotional.
But meh, didn't like it.

I ain't watching the anime but in the character point of view Hide's pretty important. Especially to Kaneki. Since, Hide's status is unknown but probably MIA and sometimes presumed dead. Hide's Kaneki's best friend so of course he's important, heck, in the manga Kaneki rages and turned into an S-Rank Ghoul just when he thought that Hide's dead.
Anime-wise, there is a lot of things unexplained. But eh, since I don't give that much attention on TG anymore I don't remember |
