Eh... I wasn't really aiming for it anyway. Play Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn to understand the joke. There's a Sniper you get in the early game that is racist asshole towards the Laguz (half human-half beast creatures). Conversation from Radiant Dawn: Gatrie is a flirt, Lyre and Kyza are Laguz. Beorc are what humans are referred to as. Oh. So that's what you meant. How were the Tellius games anyway? I keep on hearing about this badass NPC archer that shows up at some point in one of the games.

I keep on hearing about this badass NPC archer that shows up at some point in one of the games. Tellius games are great. Fantastic. Costly. I think you're referring to the 3-13 Archer. Radiant Dawn is divided into 4 parts. Part 1 stars Micaiah, leader of the Dawn Brigade, a group of freedom fighters fighting to reclaim their homeland of Daein (the antagonist nations from Path of Radiance) which was defeated by Crimea (home of Ike) and handed over to Begnion, the largest nation as Crimea had no resources left. Part 2 stars Queen Elincia of Crimea as she battles a civil war in her country because many people are disappointed in her rule and disagree on ruling policy. Part 3 stars Ike who aids the Laguz in their war against Begnion for their genocidal crimes against the Laguz in the past and their burning down of Serenes Forest, home to the Heron Tribe who were almost completely wiped out. Part 3 has many twists. You switch back and forth between Ike's party and Micaiah's party. Daein is now suddenly aiding Begnion, their former oppressors for reasons unknown. Ike's Mercenary group and Micaiah's Danw Brigade often end up fighting each other throughout part 3. In many chapters, you play as Ike and the boss of that chapter is Micaiah or vice-verse. It's brilliant. You're fighting against people who you come to care for. Part 4 stars both Ike and Micaiah. A huge threat to all life is awakened and both groups are forced to put aside their differences and defeat the Goddess Ashera, who was initially worshipped by both Beorc and Laguz but the constant warfare has led to her deciding to wipe everyone out and starting over with fresh life. Anyway, 3-13 means Part 3, Chapter 13. This chapter, you play as Micaiah defending a fortress under assualt by the Greil Mercenaries led by Ike and many Laguz warriors. This is often called one of the hardest chapters in the game as Ike and his group are extremely powerful by this point and you have to fight them with the Dawn Brigade who are often EXP-starved. There is an sniper on the left side of the map. He is an allied NPC. If he's left to do his own thing, he'll end up blokcing an entire group of reinforcements coming in from the left side. He'll even kill many Laguz reinforcements as long you keep healing him. Fire Emblem is notorious for suicidal NPCs that seem to have no care for their own lives and often cause more harm than good despite being on your side. This guy though... This guy is legend.

The costly part worries me because games are f***ing expensive here in Australia. But putting that part aside, I'll have to put those two games on my "To get" list. I know that at least Path of Radiance was released here in Australia as there was a review on it in one of the local gaming magazines (Which sadly went out of print a a couple of years ago).

Speedy_Fox_IV Here's some music from the games to hype you up. I believe the first two are included in SSBB. Not sure about the third. Battle Theme of the Black Knight, an overall amazing antagonist. I consider this theme to be the "Imperial March" of Fire Emblem. Eternal Bond which is called Ike's Theme in Brawl although that's technically incorrect. Map theme for the Greil Mercenaries' chapters. The Devoted, the battle theme for the Greil Mercenaries. I think this one is present in the latest Smash.

I hear that it's quite a long game. 80+ hours. Why do you say that? Did you get it recently? Speaking of which, my brother got it last week, and he's loving it. It's mostly consisted of sidequests which do help flesh the world out, along with the world's vast scenery porn and appealing soundtrack.

Even the super bosses? Or just main game?

The New 3DS is coming out in Japan later this year at an equivalent of $181 USD (for the XL/LL) and $140 USD (for normal) and it's going to have a small circle-pad "C-Stick" in homage of the GCN controller. The gameslot will be at the bottom left, with the stylus near it. They improved upon the 3D screen, where you can finally look at an angle and still see the 3D.
They have a faster CPU in it and because of this, Xenoblade Chronicles on the 3DS will only be playable on the New 3DS. It won't play on the original old ones. It will also have built in NFC support, for the Amiibos.
