Hey everybody!  as you know I was wondering which starter do you guys like? Like for me for example I'm in love with fire type starters from generation 1-4 &6. Fire types are my passions and I always try a way to defeat their weaknesses  I also love all the grass and water types from gen. 1-4&6 :3 the reason why I haven't put generation 6 up there is because they haven't officially put out gen 6 full stages evolutions and their final types :c  *Btw me no ownie |

I picked Squirtle, Cyndaquil, and Treecko because those are the three starts I almost always chose when playing the games |

Technically, my favs are Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Turtwig, and Tepig, but I wanted to mess with the poll a little. XD

I prefer "a deep dislike to the point i get angryu whenever I see them or it is bought up in conversation"

I usually prefer water types as my starters, but Torchic and Treeko are just really awesome. If I buy X, though, I'm definitely choosing Fennekin.

It's kinda pointless for me to vote seeing as I'm kinda indifferent to all of them. I don't think that there's a Pokemon that I truly hate.

My favorite is Cyndaquil, since apart from Lucario, Typhlosion is also my favorite pokemon.

The poll is lacking Eevee (Yellow/Colosseum/XD) and Pikachu (Yellow) But anyways, while I do have preferences throughout the generations, my top two favorites will always be Torchic and Turtwig. Who knew a fighting chick and a turtle could be so awesome?  |

It would be unfair if Eevee was added, she just beats out anything in my book...
But I'm surprised that nobody mentioned probably the most cliche favorite outside of Pikachu, sadly it's mine. I always like Charmander more than the other two. Bulbasaur was worthless though Squirtle wasn't bad.
As for the other gens: Cyndaquil, Treeko (the only Grass-Type starter that I actually enjoyed picking, though Torchic was usually still my choice), Chimchar, Oshawatt.
I probably would have liked Tepig if I used it but I didn't like the look of it or its stat allocation, and yet another Fire/Fighting, while powerful, was boring. Come to think of it all the Gen V's had bad allocations for a good sweeper, which is usually how I use my starters.

I didn't think Bulbasaur was worthless. The Kanto Region was practically made for him! I mean, there's always a starter that is programmed to do better in the gyms and League.
Like in Kanto, Bulbasaur can ace through the first two gyms easy, he has a resistance in the third, fourth, and fifth gyms, and he basically wipes out the eighth gym. The only two gyms that he might have trouble with are Sabrina and Blaine, but he still has more advantages than the others.
Same thing with Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Turtwig, and Tepig. Those starters are the ones that are usually the best at the gyms and such. And if the trend continues, Froakie will be the best in Gen 6.
