So, for the sake of the Pokémon X and Y thread, which has seen two temporary off-topic sub-discussions (or whatever  ) about the same thing (all because of me, another ), I have decided, out of guilt and fear of getting blocked (yet another since I know that's unlikely as Pichu's very nice), to post a debate thread about the identity of the most mysterious person in the Pokémon anime, who was only mentioned in one episode and had a possible appearance at just one another point in the series...  The father of Ash Ketchum. So, who do you think it is, or who do you think should it be? Feel free to discuss! |

I voted for "some other guy" xD While I think it would be a cool twist if Ash's father was already introduced in the anime as one of the characters mentioned in the poll question, I just have a feeling that if he were to ever make an appearance it would be a new character entirely.

Well, I read this interesting fic by Matkin22 on ff.net, Ash's father was also Dawn's father, and Silver's brother and he was mortallt wounded when TR tried to capture Ho-oh, then, he was reincarnated as Ho-oh before he died.
