Yeah that kinda aggravates me too. On another topic that I'm sure was addressed, Ash was really smart in hoenn and sinnoh. I don't understand why they made him dumb again in unova. Why not just keep him as smart as he was in hoenn and sinnoh?

@pichu: Because the writers are idiots. I generally don't like them... They're not idiots. They're trying to make money. They don't really care what the fans think as long as they keep a steady cash flow... to them, pokemon is basically a license to print money (in a metaphorical sense) |

I mean, I was okay with Dawn getting Mamoswine and Togekiss, but why would they give Iris a freaking psuedo-legendary!?! It doesn't make any sense!

Okay, speaking of new catches, what Pokemon do you all think the anime characters should of/should catch?
I think that Ash should've caught that Spoink in Hoenn, that Hippopotas in Sinnoh, and that Riolu from Sinnoh as well.

Yeah, and Iris should NOT have caught a freakin' Dragonite. After reading up on previews for episodes in Japan where they're in the Junior World Cup, Iris is supposed to beat Georgia, Dawn, and then make it to either the semi-finals or finals! Ugh! This is why the show is not as good anymore and why I can't stand Iris!
