Alright, here's something I just despise. They only like some things about the anime because of nostalgia. I like Charizard and all, but I don't consider him the King of all Pokemon. Im serious. I consider Charizard to be quite the overrated Pokemon.

He's just as such because of being one of Ash's strongest. But that brings an interesting question, what do people think would be Ash's strongest team?

I know virtually nothing about Ash's Unova team and I'm limited on his Sinnoh team but here's my list.

Pikachu
Charizard
Snorlax
Sceptile
Torterra
Staraptor/Infernape

The last one is hard to say cause I've only seen things mentioned about him having the fully evolved forms and not sure what they specialize in or what they're good at. But this a good mixed team with his most powerful. Including, using game terms, a special sweeper (Pikachu), physical sweeper (Infernape/Staraptor), a couple mixed sweepers (Charizard, Sceptile), a special tank and physical powerhouse (Snorlax), and a physical tank and another powerhouse (Torterra). Along with the stats it's also a fairly diverse team in terms of type. Kinda wish that he had a more powerful Water-Type but the best he has would be Squirtle or maybe Buizel who would have a real hard time again who would have a real hard time against the others.

Well, actually, one could say that his strongest Pokemon would be Pikachu, Charizard, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle, but besides that, the powerhouses would be most likely his Sceptile, his Infernape, and most likely his Krokorok that will soon be a Krookodile.

i agree with what you say lucifer other then torterra i think he a tank as well but his krookodile could take that spot

Ash's Infernape was quite literally, a monster. Should definitely go on Ash's list of best pokemon.

So I guess Infernape would take that spot at the end.

But as for his Krokorok, I was happy to see that he got him. I loved my Krookodile in Black and it murdered pretty much everyone he came across from the first battle to the Elite Four. Moxie FTW! lol

Here's one thing that I have to rant about. Why the heck did the writers make Pikachu forget Volt Tackle, one of the most powerful Electric-type moves and his coolest-looking attack, and replaced it with Electro Ball? I mean, I'll admit that Electro Ball looks pretty cool, but come on! Volt Tackle was by far his best attack! You don't just get rid of it!

They needed to introduce a new attack to Pikachu I guess. Make him a little weaker to keep up with the "Ash has to struggle every time he enters a new region".

@anthoneey I was actually very surprised when I heard that the writers had Ash use what would be his ace team in Sinnoh. Of course they had to throw in a guy with two legendaries to make sure that he lost....
