I was surprised when they made the movie Lucario and the Mystery of Mew partially canon with Ash having aura and being able to use it, if not just finding out where Riolu was in the anime. Should he retire, he could definitely be either a Pokemon Ranger like Jack or be part of the Battle Frontier in Kanto. I don't know, those two can be quite good.

I was disappointed when Dawn didn't mention May in her description of Contests to Iris.
She also said it's in Johto, it really makes me wonder what May's doing now.

Speaking of the Unova League, is anyone else besides me pissed that Ash might be losing to Kotetsu of all people (and only making top 8 too)? I might not care if it was anyone else, but Kotetsu is a total MORON.

I believe that it's because of X and Y. The Black and White anime came out before the games came out, so there's a possibility that the anime for X and Y will come out before the new games as well.
