So apparently, the Unova League is coming sooner than we thought. The first two episodes of the Unova League are premiering towards the end of November.

Wow, it feels like it was only yesterday that Unova started xD Hell, it feels like just yesterday AG started x__x

I haven't watched a league tournament episode in a long while, but it might be nice to tune in for this one. It'd be nice to see Ash win a league, too xD

Okay, so speaking of the anime, there seem to be certain Pokemon who people think should and should not evolve like Ash's Bulbasaur, Team Rocket's Meowth, Dawn's Piplup, etc.

What do you think? Is there any Pokemon on the main characters' teams that you think should or should not evolve? Why should it or why shouldn't it?

Bulbasuar on Ash's team. As much as it breaks the continuity with Bulbasuar not evolving, I feel like it's one last resort. And I already done it, so why should I stop?

Well, I just think that some of these Pokemon need to evolve. I mean, Bulbasaur should've become an Ivysaur. Piplup should've become a Prinplup. Psyduck should've become a Golduck. Axew needs to become a Fraxure. It's just the way it should be.

Well they need to set a few things with Ash's teams in that he won't just try and get the powerful Pokemon to win battles. But most should just eventually evolve after that much time. Bulbasaur is a big one as is Squirtle, simply from their time since capture. The Johto starters are probably at about where they should be, if not either Quilava or Bayleaf should already be in their final form.

As for the other characters or even more of Ash's Pokemon it would probably take too long to really go into them, but just so that he becomes more than a comedic effect, I agree that Psyduck should have evolved.

You do have to remember though that the anime has different rules from the games. Just because a Pokemon can evolve in the anime it doesn't always mean that it will get any stronger. I seem to remember that most of Tortera's wins occurred when it was in it's pre-evolved forms.
