Well, Kanto will always be my favourite. The Gym Leaders were cool (seriously, a militar, a psychic, a scientist, a ninja and a criminal? Freaking awesome.), the cities...well they were nice in a way. The Pokémon introduced marked a history in the whole series. I don't have anything to complain about the first games.....well except that you couldn't run (thanks Gen III).

I agree with Hollow. I love Kanto.
It's where everything began and, in the anime, it seemed so amazing to live there. The others felt that way too, but I always think Kanto was just right. The only gripe was how the original game map, the one given to you by Nintendo, made Kanto look completely barren and boring looking.

Kanto is the best! It's where the whole anime started the gyms were cooler too and it's where Ash started he's freaking journey! It's like the gate way to the Pokemon world.

Kanto is the best, no doubt about it. First Gen rocked all.
By far the best city was Celadon. You could buy evolution stones, get an Eevee and catch Grimer... with the added effect of possibly buying a Dratini.. awesome.

For Pokmeon Red, I use Blastoise, Graveler, Poliwrath, Pidgeot, any random fifth members, any random sixth members.
