It was easy for him. I didn't know what he was planning, so I was just facing his tank who was simply setting up defenses. I brought him down in I think two turns? But then he brought out the smeargle and just used roar... after roar... after roar... after roar. All my pokemon were poisoned and damaged, and they couldn't attack. Had I known that he was just going to trap me in a wall like that, I would have set up for it. And I don't know how his smeargle was so fast, I guess he had an ability or abnormal speed, since like I said he outran my Sceptile who was had some fairly quick attacks. That and his 350+ speed he should have left it in the dust. But like I said before going to that technique was just the normal battling. He abused stat-boosts right after his tank pokemon went down, so his speed probably went to max, allowing to outpace me every time. Then sending in smeargle like that, I was done in. Once it gets like that, it is hard to get out. Eh, I just battle to battle. I'm not too big on strategies for Pokemon, I only play competitively if I'm bored or want a challenge.

Just giving suggestions. I know generally how you can counter things and having one or two whirlwind/roar Pokemon is almost a must have unless you're confident enough you can beat them fast enough. As for Smeargle, no comment other than annoying is about the best he is. Kinda like Wobbafett, even if the latter is deadly when used right.
As for those two, everyone has a counter in one form or another. Besides, with Magic Bounce it makes most wall types ineffective considering they're moves are usually based on consistent damage from attacks that would be weak to Magic Bounce. It's hard to use much else considering few good walls have good attack as well. And even the ones that do aren't normally raised to be like that.

Bleh, I always hated Wobbafett. Not because he was hard to beat, just because he is so annoying. I enjoy giving that blue blob various health conditions, preferably poison. Then I can just watch as it lays over lol, and in the meantime, bulk myself up.

Skarm - Not really sure what to say, especially considering you won, but a good amount of luck did help you end it without much problem. For me it always seems like sleep only lasts a turn or two. Still better than my luck with confusion... Didn't get to see Scyther or Magmorter too well but I'd assume you have the type make up of attacks considering most of your team consists of sweepers. And that's basically the biggest weakness I can see, but like I said I lack much experience so most of what my head tells me is more what I calculate as what would be efficient, not necessarily what might work. Nice win though.

And that's basically the biggest weakness I can see, but like I said I lack much experience so most of what my head tells me is more what I calculate as what would be efficient, not necessarily what might work. Nice win though. don't worry i would win annyways (my absol has a sash ) +what my lack of defense i make up for knowledge i know exactly what moves or sets a pokemon has right of the bath i read my opponent moves like a book i rarely don't know what to expect BTW here is a summary of my team Lead: Scyther Scyther is used for a good reason: STAB U-Turn Hurts! It is used mostly as a late game attacker, and it can perform sweeps after you see the opponents team. Scyther 3HKOs every pokemon that doesnt resists his Attacks. It has Relatively good bulk (Base 80's def/sdef) and his typing allows him to Fully Resist Ground, and Quad Resist Grass + Fighting. Scyther is a very uncommon lead, but it is efficient. In addition, choice scarf on an already fast pokemon surprises people. That means Bye-Bye alakazam and ambipoms and all those annoying pokemon. Jolly Nature is there to Outspeed Ludicolo in Rain as well as Outspeed Jolly Torterra after Rock Polish. The Powerhouse: Magmortar So you may be asking, 2 SCARFERS??? Well yes, no one expects two scarfers. Its unorthodox, but it works. With little prediction, Magmortar can tear through teams. STAB Fireblast is a Safe 2HKO on pretty much 80% of the UU Metagame (Even 2HKOs Uxie after Rocks). HP Ice for Altaria, and Torterra. Thunderbolt for Milotic Switch Ins, and Focus Blast for more coverage. Magmortar counters the most common threats in UU: Venusaur, Milotic, Mismagius, Registeel. What more could you want? Blastoise: I reliable Spinner. Phaze to Scout more of the Team. Toxic to cripple opposing walls. Surf against rhyperior or donphans. A solid defensive pokemon. Speed EVs are to Outspeed Jolly 252Speed Rhyperior. Absol: one SD and it wrecks. two SD and its game. Focus Sash allows me to get at least one SD up as I can take any hit with Focus Sash. Sleep Powder helps Absol with more successful sweeps. It just wrecks roserade:just for help and making stuff sleep crobat:there to set up do damage and die:)
