I'm not yet I am. I sometimes battle some of those in competitions for fun, and man do I get whooped sometimes lol. Then again, they play some dirty tricks. One dude kept using baton paass with poison spikes and stealth rock on the field. Killed me -_-

Or at the very least suggested if you have the space.

The guy had a smeargle, and by using roar and copycat, he was able to successfully switch my pokemon constantly, getting me poisoned and injured at the same time without being able to counter-attack, since copycat almost always goes first. I had my 350+ Sceptile with me, and I couldn't get through his technique. So even if I could break it, which I was able to take down his stupid baton pass and stat-boost-abusing. Even still with a single pokemon and two moves I was helpless. I'd never experienced that battlestyle, so I was caught completely off-guard. Not that I'm a pro or anything anyway lol.

Marksman - Well generally you bring it as a move on a wall type. Forretress or Blastoise are two of the more common ones I think with Starmie and Donphan not too far behind. Dang, that's a pretty good combo. But Smeargle's speed isn't all that great, nor are his defenses. A good sweeper or two should have done him in. Unless he Passed an Agility as well, then you would probably need a Choice Scarf, Quick Claw, or Quick Attack type of attack to get past it. There are a few others but those would be the more common ones. Doesn't seem like an easy thing to set up but effective if it is.

It was easy for him. I didn't know what he was planning, so I was just facing his tank who was simply setting up defenses. I brought him down in I think two turns? But then he brought out the smeargle and just used roar... after roar... after roar... after roar. All my pokemon were poisoned and damaged, and they couldn't attack. Had I known that he was just going to trap me in a wall like that, I would have set up for it. And I don't know how his smeargle was so fast, I guess he had an ability or abnormal speed, since like I said he outran my Sceptile who was had some fairly quick attacks. That and his 350+ speed he should have left it in the dust. But like I said before going to that technique was just the normal battling. He abused stat-boosts right after his tank pokemon went down, so his speed probably went to max, allowing to outpace me every time. Then sending in smeargle like that, I was done in. Once it gets like that, it is hard to get out.
