Found this article on Tumblr pokebeach.com/2013/05/supposed-pokemon-x-and-y-insider-informationOnly take it with a grain of salt though. Like I said a while ago, Fairy would be nice just to make Poison type a bit more useful. I find it interesting how it would supposedly be strong to Dragon though. The professor isn't named after a tree like all the others, which makes me skeptical of the source. And duel type attacks seem a bit unrealistic, but I guess it could be Game Freak's way of changing up the meta game this gen. Idk, I find it interesting and it brings some interesting ideas to the table, but I don't buy it yet. awwww helll nooooo No Dragonite of mine will get murked off by a figment of a 5 year old girls imagination... DAT IS BULL****

Touche... touche... still, I mean't for people in general lol. It's like people riding on Squirtles. And that is tiny! Katherine, that's not good! Neither is my weight, but still. I'm lil worried about you there! Your height isn't tiny though, I have friends smaller than you. Besides, I'm sure you'd pull it off well And Pichu, a 200 pound animal would probably have problems with anyone over 150 pounds, so that is null. Trying to even carry a 100 pound girl several miles would cause the gogoat to fall over in fatigue lol. Nothing to do with you Kat, just an example ^_^

Yeah, but the average ten-year-old is obviously not gonna be close to 100 pounds. Plus, this is a video game, so the laws of physics don't exactly apply.

Just wanna point out that this runs parallel with the thing on PokeBeach

I wish it actually took real-life into account. Ash getting burned by Charizard or Team Rocket getting blasted thousands of feet into the air and surviving is annoying to me.

He's bigger than you think. His height is 5'6" to 5'7" and his weight is 200.621 lbs. Pokemon always have weird weights for their creatures. Cause that is one light-ass goat. I'm 6'2" and about 195, but I'm bipedal. Although their biggest mistake is still with Wailord. It's comparable to the size of an adult sperm whale, but while Wailord weighs a mere 877lbs. a sperm whale is in the ball park of 30 000lbs. The thing has to be almost entirely air pockets inside, and that would cause a few problems while diving...

That, and it's size makes no sense in comparison to the weight, for something that big with so small a mass is weird. I mean, Snorlax is heavier than Wailord? Metagoss is heavier too, as well as quite a few legendaries.

Well, maybe it has to do with Wailord being able to suck up air or water?

Then... wouldn't it be able to float in the air? Air + fat = a floating Wailord lol. As for the water, I suppose that would help it sink.

Maybe that's how they might have figured it, but it's natural abilities still mimic a sperm whale in terms of diving depth. I mean the damn thing is only three times as heavy as said whale's heart.
But that's just the biologist in me screaming the obvious. The people who create the Pokemon could care less about anatomy and physiology outside of "Does it look and sound cool?". Suspension of disbelief only goes so far when you're mimicing reality, lol.

Eh true. Wouldn't that be similar to how a smeargle doesn't run out of paint on it's tail, or how water types can hold so much water in their bodies without becoming bloated? Or... how an electric type can hold such energy inside itself without damaging it's body? Maybe... that a ditto to be able to transform correctly into other pokemon or items would need to be able to replicate the vertebrate and other bones, or else it'd fall limp like jelly?
It's just for entertainment, I know, and I don't mind so much for the Pokemon, but for Ash and the others, they should at least let him age, and not act like he slams his head into brick walls before his next journey to gain amnesia.
