Yeah. Gen V did go by fast...
Wasn't all that into the starters, but after looking at some fanart they're kinda growing on me. I dig that grass type's face xD

Yep. Like a grass Oshawott.
But I think I'll choose Fennekin when the game comes out. I'm curious in how his final evolution will be, and so the others. (I hope Froakie's final evolution won't be like Seismitoad...)

The grass type is going to be my first choice this time
I always seemed to choose the fire ones, thought I'd give it a different go this time. Although no grass type will match the greatness of Sceptile.

I just hope they change the 2nd Type for each. I am tired of Fire/Fighting that has been popular since Gen III.

I'm usually a fire person when it comes to pokemon starters, but Froakie is a frog, and I love frogs!! XD
Looks like water starters been the awesome ones this time around... xD
Although I gotta admit I like the grass type too. XD this should be interesting. xD

Yeah, and Froaker's has puffy white cottony stuff on him, maybe they're supposed to be clouds? Maybe he's gonna evolve into a flying type? Maybe I'm really dumb?

Unless it gets a good second type Grass-Types are usually quick to end up in the side lines compared to other types. They just don't have enough that they are super effecitve against. Happened every time I did it, although Sceptile stayed with the group better than most. Over at deviantArt, the fire starter seems to be the favorite. No surprise there, he's probably what could be called the cutest among them so far. But unless I have some sort of disdain over its evolved form, as I did with Gen V, I'll probably start with Fire again. Great all around and a useful type to have. What I want to see though are more Eeveelutions! People have been fanarting them for a long time but they skipped new ones in Gen V. Flying, Dragon, Ground, so many options. Though I have to admit my favorite types have already been made, heh. |

I had lost a lot of hope in the world.
A lot of dumb people exist now.
But the artists...
I think they have super powers
They can freeze time!
The game was announced less than 24 hours ago and there's more fanart of these dang starters than I can count.
