It would be weak against Ice, Rock, and Lightning types for it's flying type. For Dark it would be Fighting and bug (Although those are turned neutral due to flying type)

And then it wouldn't be affected by Ground or Psychic attacks. And would resist Grass, Ghost, and Dark types.

I really am hoping for some odd type matchups this year.

Like we have had so many Norm/Fly grass/posion Pokemon

I'd like something like Dark/Electric or something

Also does it seem like they are focusing more on genes or mathematics than anything to any of you guys?

X Y coordinate plain is 2D so maybe there's a third Z Pokemon for the third dimension Z coordinate?

It's gonna be hard to predict just what will end up happening.

Each Gen had at least 2-3 years before going to the next gen; with the exceptions of Gen III to IV, that took 3-4 years and again with Gen IV to V.
