It was better as a special tank if I remember correctly. Sludge Bomb ftw.

Try a physical psychic like Metagross or Gallade. Metagross would have a few problems from HP yes, but its attack is high enough that it could punch through most of its hit points. Especially with Choice Band.

There needs to be more psychic/ fighting pokemon for mixed sweeping. Although I never really used Gallade.
