Yeah.. one simple search for "2012 anime" would solve it all. Although I'm a bit doubtful with people who don't do much with the computer other than Facebook, Youtube and simple surfing. Those who don't know how and where to find the files, or how you even get them. That is why most of the people I meet online always streams them, :]
How and where do you find the anime that you want to watch? And how do you usually learn about new series?
I've always used nyaa.eu and bakabt.me, the latter having an interesting "random" button that randomly shows you a torrent on the site, xD Anyways, most people search up "upcoming anime" on Google or something and often wind up on some site that collects speculations and official announcements about any upcoming shows. These could be blogs or even the fansubbers themselves, stating whether or not they will be working with the show.
As for me, already having so many things on hold, I rarely look for shows anymore but download those who pop up on nyaa.eu that catches my interest. Of course, I search those titles up before I get them, learning about the genre(s) and plot.

I usally buy my anime over ebay or get it from my brother who always seems to have what ever anime I'm looking for. As for where I find out about them it's either TvTropes, my anime loving friends or my brother as I said before.

Not much. I found this store on ebay that has some low prices and ships really quickly to me. Plus they're based in Sydney so I'm not paying extra for overseas shipping.

I usally buy dub but I believe that some of them have subtitles on them. I do know that the Pokemon dvd's I have don't have subtitles. I have bought officaly subbed titles before though. The two Gurren Lagann movies come to mind.
Edit: They have some pretty good quality. I compared my dvd to my brother's download of the same of Gurren Lagann and the dvd was of much higher quality.

sounds like a very good store then! it's a shame i can't find many over here, and even if i do, the shipping would cost nearly as much as the animes themselves.. -.-

Deadman's Wonderland! LOVE that Anime!
Um, I've watched quite a few Animes and I like almost all of them! I've watched Durarara, Bleach, Deadman's Wonderland, and Full Metal Alchemist on Adult Swim and I like all the action, story lines and animation! Watched them every saturday!
Other then my FAVORITE animes have to be 1.) Hetalia:Axis Powers Um, I really have no idea, but I just really fell in love with this anime! I love the characters and the situations that many of them get into. The anime is SERRIOUSLY funny, and I enjoy it everytime I watch it!
2.) Toradora First Anime I watched and I can't let go how awesome the serries is. The comedy, action, adn romance is just perfect!
3.) No.6 This anime is a shoujin-Ai, and it made me cry so hard at the end of the serries. It's just really lovely, compacted with action, and always had me at the edge of my seat! Recommed watching it! (oh and of coarse I love Pokemon too xD)
