Best western anime together with Avatar, case closed.
nah really tho, big fan. Waiting for season 4 to end to watch it, don't like the tension of waiting a week.

I think they may pull a Star wars hero goes to train with master(toph) while friends are in danger. |

A question that has been bothering me (Includes spoilers for the end of book 2): So now that Raava is gone, Korra is cut off from her past lives. Logically shouldn't she also be cut off from the Avatar state?
The Avatar state is the compounded power of all the Avatars being used at once, so if those past lives aren't available, why is their power still around?
And taking it a step further, since it was Raava's power that let Wan obtain the other three elements in the first place, shouldn't Korra have lost her access to them entirely? |

Avatar state isn't exactly all the avatars at the same time. Just the spirit linking them. So you could say every avatar has the same spirit just different body. same person actually if you look at it in a certain way, just reincarnated. Now that that is out of the way. now toanswer the next question. Korra the last Avatar of Wan's era and the first Avatar of Korra's era I think it was clearly shown how Unalaq-Vaatu destroyed Korra's connection with the past Avatar one by one . He even destroyed Raava, but later in the episode, Jinora helped Korra to bring back a new Raava from Vaatu (Light lives within the Dark and vece-versa) thus, no connection can be restored. Why? Because the Raava that lived in the past Avatars is gone. But think about it in this way: Korra was the last Avatar to serve the purpose of a "Bridge" And now she's the first Avatar to serve as a "Guide" to both Worlds. (Korra herself said that at the end of Light in the Dark) That's why leaving the portals open is not a horrible idea. Back in Wan's time, Spirits and Humans fought because they didn't have a Guide, but now, they do. In this new era, if Spirits and Humans fight again for whatever reason they have, now they will have their Avatar to Guide the to peace and balance. (Which, if i remember well, is the concept we were introduced to back in A:TLA) You could even say that Korra's been one of the most if not the most important Avatar to exist because of this whole event. i'm sure Aang, Roku, Kyoshi, etc are still in the spirit world. So not all connections are lost. So this means, the Avatar after Korra will only have her as a guide (you know, Roku to Aang). Source: A box of crackers, me looking at the wiki, Aquadrop ' drops, etc. XD I have a thought as well. Korra may be the avatar that did her job the best but She is In my opinion the weakest in her bending. seems the ones who take lesser time to master them aren't the best at using it. Aang took some time but he did that shit well. her Avatar state is weak aswell. (except avatar kuruk he is the weakest, that dude didn't have shit to do in his time) |
