One of my original anime that I saw, even have most of it on DVD. Obviously it was before I started downloading my shows.
While I've found better since then but it'll always have a unique place among the others.
Besides, I've always loved Tessaiga and Tenseiga along with their abilities. Not to mention Sesshoumaru has always been one of my favorite characters.

lol, yeah they're completely different. Although I get the feeling you would probably like Rurouni Kenshin more. Both series were some of ones I started with and would regularly suggest to others.

Inuyasha was one of the first anime series I ever watched and got into, also. Nowadays I prefer the manga over the anime, but the anime still brings back a lot of good memories for me and there are a lot of things I really do like about it, like the music, for example.
What are your guys' favorite opening or ending songs? For the endings, I really liked both "My Will" and "Fukai Mori"

I once watched an episode. By the gods is the main character annoying. She is a typical Tsunderes at their very worst. I never watched it again.

Tsundere. A girl that acts like she hates you, but secretly wants your cock. I looked it up on urban dictionary. Lol so is misty one too? Sorry for the offtopicness. So the main character girl fell into a well or something and traveled thru time or what's up?

Kagome is a fantastic character, honestly, but I guess it's hard to tell if you've only watched one episode, or haven't read the manga xD Kagome and Inuyasha just have that stereotypical love-hate relationship, so even though they care about each other they're constantly bickering and picking on each other (mostly done for comedic effect, if you ask me, and they tone it down a lot as the series progresses). But yeah, that's basically what happens. She goes down the well and goes back in time, winding up in Feudal Japan. Here's the summary of the first episode from Wikipedia: Kagome Higurashi, a 15 year old girl living in present day Japan goes searching for her lost cat in her family shrine only to find that a terrible demon has revived in the shrine well. The demon, named Mistress Centipede, grabs Kagome and drags her down the well. After falling through the well, she finds herself transported back in time to a village in Feudal Japan. There, Kagome encounters the PriestessKaede, who senses Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo, Kaede's dead sister who was a powerful priestess. The village is soon attacked by Mistress Centipede who followed Kagome through the well and who is searching for the Shikon Jewel, a stone of unbelievable power. While in Feudal Japan, Kagome also crosses paths with the dog hanyō InuYasha. She first encounters him nailed to a huge tree by arrows and believes he is dead. When she removes the arrows, she is surprised to find he is alive. He explains that he was imprisoned by Sacred Arrows and bound to the Sacred Tree until she released him. Now released, Inuyasha is able to defeat Mistress Centipede with his super human powers. During the fight with Mistress Centipede, Kagome sees a jewel emerge from Kagome's chest. Kaede recognizes the stone as the Shikon Jewel and bestows in on Kagome, because Kaede says Kagome is the rightful heir to its power.

I'd probably have to disagree that Kagome is a tsundere and more like what Sara said with it being a love/hate relationship. She tries to be kind and get Inuyasha to actually come around but he always screws it up at some point by either mentioning Kikiyo or having an Ash type of density to him. And also like Sara says it does tone itself down partly due to the fact of Inuyasha actually starting to accept Kagome and caring for her. I still haven't watched all of the newer series so I'm not all the way through but it wouldn't surprise me if they finally got past those initial problems.
As for my favorite opening and ending I have several on my computer as mp3s so even if I haven't seen the series in a long time I remember most of them.
Opening - Every I Am
Ending - Every Heart
