Does Light Novels count? Or does it need to be a real book?

Alright. Chrome Shelled Regios (Light Novel). It's not fully translated yet... But I give it an 8/10 and... I really suck at reviews... -_-'

It - Stephen King 10/10
It's very long, but I love King's writing style. I find his work completely absorbing.

Halloween Jack and the Devil's Gate by M. Todd Gallowglas.
5/10. A very creative idea, intriguing hero, and decent plot. However, the writing is rather clunky in style, nothing in the story seems remotely plausible, which made for a lot of eye roll worthy moments and jokes, clearly intended for younger readers, and often I found myself very bored of the story. I'm just glad it was a short novel, so finishing it was easy enough.

"Siddhartha" by Herman Hesse
4/10: It has a great message, and it's very enlightening in spots, but overall, it lacks an interesting plot. A great deal of the story is rather insignificant to the overall message, with only a few "ah-ha" moments sprinkled throughout. By the end of the story, the "plot" becomes rather monotonous and lacks the ability to hold attention...

honestly, a four was being conservative...being critical, I'd give it a 2.8
(I only read it because I had to...)

I was reading a Sugababes biography by Emily Sherdan. I'm giving it an 9/10 because it was well written and informative. It just loses one mark because a lot of the information in the book is outdated, but the pictures are lovely.

Sever by Lauren DeStefano.
6/10 This was the best of the Chemical Gardens trilogy, but that's not saying much. It got confusing near the end, relationships became muddled, and the plot seemed like she made it up as she went along. There is one ultimate goal, but the details of who's good, destination, and short term goal flipped around. I think she was trying to hard to try and liven up the story by adding irksome plot twists that only made me want to shut the book. And the romance between the main character and her 'love interest'(I use the term veeeery loosely) was atrocious. It seems as though she just stuck it in there because "it's YA, it needs love or else it won't sell." The only thing that didn't sell was this so-called love.

Illusions by Aprilynne Pike 6.5/10
Third book in the Wings series. I'm honestly getting a little bored of these books, but the ending was unexpected, in a good way. I also like how she broadens her writing to incorporate more of what's going on with Tam when Laurel isn't around. Although he and David are extremely annoying in this one (mostly David-I really dislike the guy).
