Looks like the movie had an early screening today!

And it featured a small teaser for the next movie. It's just Pikachu sliding down a vine in a forest, but it's in traditional 2D animation, so it looks like we don't have to worry about a full-on CGI style being a thing for the anime down the road.

I know we've been recently getting dubs earlier and earlier, but how long did it usually take for a dub to come out?

This is a good point, and yeah, it's really strange. M21 was released in theaters on November 24 and on TV on December 8, November 5 and 25 for M20, and M19 first aired on TV on December 5. There's been a steady July/Q4 release schedule since Best Wishes started, so the fact that there hasn't been as much as an announcement yet is just plain odd.

I remember when the dubs for the movies were released the year after the originals were released in Japan without airing on TV first. Perhaps this is the case again?

Otherwise, I'm thinking this could be the first movie that doesn't get dubbed at all (presumably because the first movie's dub already exists).
