okay then lets talk about this motherfucking movie then shall we ?
Okay so after initial shock wore off - I can say that this is an instant top 5 MCU film for me. The tone was a lot darker than any other film which I think we all can agree on, but as usual, great humour to balance it out (anyone else die when Tony called Thanos Squidward? Or anything involving Drax? Just me? okay)
We need to talk about Thanos though... Even though he is easily the best villain in the MCU by a country mile (sorry Killmonger) I couldn't help but be a little confused by his motives... I guess I was expecting the classic big titan ass motherfucker who is driven of pure domination and power but we got this big titan ass motherfucker who thinks hes a martyr and wants to create a better world and over population and shit... the whole thing came across as confusing to me... Can someone who read the Infinity War comics or any guardians comics in general clear this up for me? was his motive the original motive or nah?
and wow... Thanos won... well its a bit overdue that the bad guy won after 10 years and a billion movies of heroes coming on top... but it doesn't make it any less devastating.... like everyone fucking disintegrated and didnt get to die in battle like a hero should and them being powerless in death was absolutely heartbreaking for your boy... (anyone else tear up when spiderman died.... i know at least one of you cunts did)
what I loved about this movie is the amount of questions it left us... the most important being... WHERE THE FUCK WERE HAWKEYE AND ANTMAN...? did they not get the memo or some shit? help me? sidneote where was the Valkyiror girl that was about six seconds away from banging Thor in Ragnarok? did she just die off screen on the ship with the rest of asguard?
anyways brilliant film, Marvel made another classic... roll on Captain Marvel
and lol Peter Dinklage was a giant dwarf
From what I know of the comics (which isn’t much), his motives in the movies are pretty much the same as in the comics, except he was doing it to impress the female personification of Death (Not Hela).
Hawkeye and Ant-Man were mentioned as being under house arrest, but I’m pretty sure they’ll both appear in the next movie. And there’s a chance Valkyrie, Korg, and Meek died. I’m still confused about how Thanos only killed half of the Asgardians when it looked like he pretty much wasted all of them. Yeah i rewatched it again (3rd time) yesterday and I caught that part... imagine if they died when thanos turned everyone to dust and they were off screen loooooooooool that'd be funny.
so heres a thing... just how important is Iron Man to killing Thanos... im still scratching my head with Dr Strange's sacrifice of himself (and half the universe) for Big Tony.

It has to do with that one scene where Strange looked through all the possible outcomes. They only won one of them, so Strange must have known Tony needed to survive in order for them to reach that outcome. Plus, they’re doing a original Avengers team kind of deal.

What PichuAuraGuardian19 said. I'm starting to suspect that the original Avengers will use the Infinity Stones to bring everyone back at the cost of their own lives...

I liek Bog tony
sidenote.... i dont suppose you have a link to the infinty gauntlet comics do you? i'd like to give it a read.
conspicuous by her absence in this thread is Aquadropgirl where you at? you not seen these films yet?

OKAY FULL REVIEW BELOW: If you haven't watched the other Marvel movies before watching this you won't feel that connected to the characters that much and you'll probably be confused with all the jumps and ask too many questions so WATCH THEM U HOES Onto the real review: Thanos really made this movie amazing. His motive has always been about 'balancing the universe' which is good, but his execution of the motive is deluded af for sure. The sense of fear and urgency in all of the characters were portrayed AMAZINGLY. Like Tony - you could tell he was in over his head but he was still constantly thinking of new plans. And LOL, Dr.Strange and Tony together was hilarious. And Steve and Bucky looked amazing, like they need to be in a shampoo ad or something. So majestic lmao. And yeah, I did tear up when Peter started to disappear....... ;____________; You're still weak tho praise lukeWhen they were going to get the soul stone (lol I really thought it'd be hidden in Wakanda but it wasn't xD) and Gamora was laughing thinking Thanos didn't love her.... like GIRL, you really think he adopted you and didn't love you after spending all those years together? Noooo. Her death was sad though ;____; Both her and Loki probably aren't coming back... It was good in setting up the second movie, now most of them are on Earth and most likely going to get Ant-Man, the Wasp, Captain Marvel to team up with em. (When the end credits scene played, someone yelled and was like : WHAT IS SHE GOING TO DO?! Boy, she's one of the most powerful characters... Just wait...) Also WHERE TF WAS HAWKEYE......... Did his family disappear? I gotta know. Overall: 9/10. I'm giving it a 9 only because I hated all the cuts between Earth & Space, but I know they had to be done because everyone was all over the place. I wanna watch it again because there was so much I'm sure I missed small details somewhere. xD

Second, I disagree with Loki and Gamora not coming back. Loki seemed to die too easily, and he always seems to have a backup plan, so I get the feeling he has a chance. And Gamora, well, there’s another Guardians movie slated to come out, so I highly doubt she would just be killed off for good.
Plus, there are rumors that this next movie is going to involve time travel with the Quantum Realm discovered by Hank Pym, which they made a point to mention in the recent Ant Man and Wasp trailer. And honestly, I’d love this because it would be the perfect set-up to bring in Kang the Conquerer in future movies.

Well it would be really lame if EVERYONE comes back, who do you think won't come back?
Also did I mention how much I hate time travel...? That's why I stay away from certain comics. xD

Aquadrop Probably Heimdall. Loki might stay dead as well, but Gamora just seems too important to the future movies for her to stay dead.
They’re under house arrest because of the accords. I’m sure they’ll explain it more in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
But with Kang, it’s really interesting! Plus, if they wanted to bring the Fantastic Four back into the fold (Not that I want them to), it’d Be a good place to bring them in. Plus, Cassie Lang could become a superhero.

Also the other Peter (Quill)...................... SDFJLKSFLKSDJFKLSJLJ
First I was mad that he punched Thanos while they literally had half the gauntlet off, but then I realized that Dr.Strange saw all the 14 million possibilities, and Starlord punching him was probably the only way I guess.
And yeah I do like Cassie though. Fantastic 4 are pretty good in the comics.... in the movies? Not so much. LOL.
