I'm just hoping that it will be somewhat competitively viable. Midday Lycanroc at least gets Accelerock (Which I'm hoping Dusk form gets as well) but other than that neither of the current forms get much competitive use.

Rock has so many weaknesses that even with Midday Form's Speed and Accelerock, there's a good chance it will get taken out. Plus, it's base Speed stat is 112, which, while it's pretty fast, it's still slower than a number of other Mons.

So a bit of an update on Dusk Form Lycanroc on Serebii: it will be able to learn both Accelerock and Counter, the "signature" moves of each form (Midnight form was the only one of the two to learn Counter). As well, Dusk Form's ability is Tough Claws. That's actually a really good ability. Depending upon how the stats are built up, we could potentially have a strong Pokémon on our hands. They'll probably want to keep the same Base Stat total as the other two forms (487), so they could move some points from the Special Attack stat to give it a higher Speed as well as some bulk. Neither of the forms really use Special Attack anyway, so there is potential. Not to mention how power its physical attacks will be with Tough Claws.

More info: you cannot evolve Rockruff into Lycanroc Dusk Form in normal gameplay. You can only get it through a special Rockruff distribution that will occur when the new games come out. I don't know if you'll be able to get the Rockruff on Sun and Moon as well as Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Some more new info on the Dusk Form! It is a pure Rock-type and is 2'07" and 55.1 lbs. "[W]hen it attacks, its eyes turn red akin to Lycanroc's Midnight Form as it unleashes its fighting spirit."

Gonna be honest, I can't say I care for the idea of this new form being event only. Was it that hard to work a way to obtain it into the game?

Bit surprised we haven't heard anything else. Need some to bring back the itch for Pokémon again.

New Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon vid.
Here's the Japanese version as well for the sole fact that I like music in it.
