The MC likes it though. It apparently expresses who Natsuki is. And this is why I didn't study lit in high school. That stuff tends to go right over my head. Uh oh. Natsuki's and Yuri's conversation is getting heated. Double uh oh. The music stopped. That's never a good sign. Never mind. Natsuki is just ribbing Yuri over her trying to impress the MC. Silly music is even playing. And now they're taking verbal pot shots at one another. The classic slice of life genre gag.  Holy! That's just-  Wow.  Peace keeping attempt status: DENIED! Awww crap. I'm gonna have to stop this argument, aren't I?  Yep. Ooh boy... As fun as it would be to phone a friend I'm probably gonna have to side Natsuki. I do like it when writing can be simple yet effective. Huzzah! I managed to bring peace without causing lots of drama!  Oh no. My presence is gonna bring this club to it's knees. Looks like my shit luck has carried over to the MC of the VN. XD  Time to write another poem. Let's see how this one turns out. |

Like I said before, it's time to write a poem! And once again I just picked what options looked most interesting and thus I have no idea who I appealed to more. Let's see how this day plays out then. Sayori: Let's get some snacks! Foxy: No thanks. Sayori: Why not? Foxy: Show me your coin purse Sayori: Ummm... *She's broke* Foxy: You ain't mooching off of me! And now she's trying to get the other club members to convince me to give her money. Sayori truly gives no fucks. XD  Suddenly, biscuits hitting Sayori in the face. Good old comedic timing. XD  Do you want rabid femslash shippers? because innocent stuff like this gives you rabid femslash shippers. Oh. Monika isn't here yet. Kinda weird seeing that she's the one that founded the club and all. They all thought that she was out with a boyfriend. Nope. She was just late from her last class. And now it's time to raid search for supplies with Sayori. Sayori just KOed herself picking up crayons. Normally I'd rib her for that but I've done that way to many times in the past so it would be kinda hypocritical of me. Ah. A bonding moment. Poem sharing time!  Who to share with first? Sayori really likes my poems. Good to know. Turns out that Sayori inspired the poem due t being so expressive. Because of that she wants the poem because she thought it was written for her. Yeah, she's totally crushing on the MC at this point. |

Sayori's poem:    Wow. Not only is it longer but it's kinda bleak. Is there something that you're not telling us Sayori? And once again, my poem reminds Monika of Sayori. Monika's poem:     Uh... That's a lot of blank space. Oh. It was intentional. Looks like Monika really likes abstract writing. Uhhhh... That wasn't a writing tip. That was a gaming tip. Combined with the "Load me" part of the poem and now I'm getting kinda worried. Natsuki's poem:   So there's two things I can take from this: a) It's commentary about how prejudice and guilt by association is to a persons view of the world or b) Natsuki really hates spiders. Tough call. It was option a. Turns out Natsuki really needed to vent about, in her own words, some "ignorant jerks". Oh. Yuri really likes the poem. Cool. Yuri's poem:   Man, cursive is an absolute bitch to read. Oh. The order in who you pick to show your poem to actually affects the dialogue. Now I'm gonna have to really think things out when the option comes up again. So for the festival the Literature Club is going to have Poetry Performance. Yuri and Natsuki aren't exactly amused by this revelation.  Same here. Yeah, Sayori is crushing hard on the MC.  I got asked "What would you do if Yuri asked to walk home with you?" and now I'm faced with a route split. Oh dear. Here's to hoping I don't mess things up with whatever choice I pick. I'd hate to end up with a "Nice boat" happening. |

...Screw it. Picking Yuri. What could possibly go wrong?  It's that time again. You guys know the drill. I just pick what words I like and hope for the best. Monika: Aww, man... I'm the last one here again. To be fair, learning hot to play the piano isn't exactly something that can be learnt overnight.  I'm starting to get the feeling that Monika knows way more than she is letting on. There's meta jokes and then there's being aware of the medium you are a part of. Awww nuts. I think Sayori isn't too happy that her crush isn't mutual. Poem picking time!  Hmmm... I thin I'll pick Natsuki first this time. Pffftt... Now that's better interaction. Friendly ribbing between two friends. At least she isn't as tsundere as she was before. Natsuki's poem:   Huh. This one seems less critical than the last 2. Not bad.  Ah so it was intentional. Good plan though. Focusing on the negative too much is never good for one's mental health. Ah. Yuri likes the poem. Thats go- Oh? The music changed to something slow and moving. Flag raised? Yuri isn't use to being appreciated? What kind of life has this girl being living? Oh wow. She certainly has lived a lonely life. Looks like it's partially self inflicted though. She worries too much about what people think of her. Yuri's poem:   Huh. Well it certainly looks like she put a lot emotion in to it. Monika's poem:    Huh. It feels kinda, what's the word? Cynical?  Yeah, that is kinda weird. You would think that there would be more upbeat poems with somebody like Sayori around. I feel like Monika's writing advice is less aimed at the MC and more aimed at me. Is she the personification of a help section or something? Sayori isn't to interested in my poem. She's trying to appear happy but she just doesn't seem as upbeat any more. Okay, something isn't right with Sayori. Like I get that she's feeling down that the MC isn't too into her romantically but she also appears to think that him getting closer to the other characters means she's getting abandoned. Is there some self doubt issues going around in this whole club? Sayori just left and didn't even show me her poem. Did I ruin the childhood friendship? Apparently Natsuki ships MC/Sayori. Sure, why not. Time for another route split? I swear that Monika is aware that this is a VN. I just can't prove it yet.  Yep. Time for another route split. |

Picking Monika. She knows something and I need to know what. Naturally the silly music started to play and Yuri and Natsuki got annoyed. They accused her of having ulterior motives because she has the least work to do and thus doesn't need my help. Monika's response:  Sounds about right.  Welp. It looks like I won't be learning about Monika any time soon then. I've got my eye on you... Guess I'm helping Yuri then. Yuri is trying to fill in for Sayori. Man, things really do feel different when the happy character leaves.  This girl has some serious self worth issues.  Yeah, that can't be good. This isn't good. Sayori isn't being that responsive. Oh. There she is. But what's with this sombre music? Sayori is really down in the dumps. Guess she fell really hard for the MC.
And as somebody who suffered from a bad case of it in the past I can tell you that heartbreak fucking sucks. I- Wow.  I sure didn't see that one coming. But in hindsight, it sure does explain a lot. Just. Wow.  Way to guilt trip me for not picking your route by the way. Man, this VN got really heavy really fast. Oh, hi there Yuri. Hopefully things can lighten up little bit now. Daww, these interactions are pretty cute.  Well as long as the MC doesn't try to stick his dick in everything I think I can avoid having School Days play out. So the MC asked to look at the knife and it ended up being sharper than he though so he cut his finger. Yuri inspected the wound but before the MC could go clean it up...  Kinky.  No argument here. |

 Humanity is a social species. Nobody is truly better off on their own for an extended period of time.  Oh.  Nothing happened by the way. No escalation happened in the end.  Flag raised! Flag raised! Assume romance battle stations level 10!  Fuck... And the sombre music is playing again. I'm gonna guess that it's Sayori's actual theme.   Wait second, hold the phone and back right up. What the heck did Monika say?!  MOTHER FUCKER! I have this sinking feeling that no matter what I pick something bad is gonna happen in the long run. I'm gonna sleep on this one and continue with the VN tomorrow. Let's all hope that I don't fuck things up too badly. |

Well real life got in the way these past few days but I finally have free time for this VN. Let's continue. Oh, right. Tough choice time. I guess I'll pick the "dearest friend" line. I'm probably gonna do multiple runs to see the different paths anyway. That's how you're supposed to play VNs anyway. Aww shit. It's highly implied that I just fucked up. Then again I think I was fucked no matter what choice I made.  Because the VN backed me into a corner with no really good choice to make? There's no music... That is never a good sign...  How the fuck do you know about that?! Just who the hell are you really?  I know and that is what makes me so uneasy about you. I'm starting to think that I might have to be more vague with my live blogging. It feels like there are things that I shouldn't spoil for people who are interested in trying this VN out. |
