Huh? What's happening? Oh snap! The spirits of the heroes just freed Marth's soul from Medeus! And there it is! Marth's soul just joined with Itsuki not only bringing him back from the dead but giving him a brand spanking new Carnage form as well. And now Tiki is coming to join the battle. Looks like the grand finale is about to go down. Oh. She brought Barry and Maiko with her. "All right... now, the Fire Emblem!"
Shits about to go down!

Medeus is not a pushover. This is going to be quite the difficult battle...

Epilogue The Long Goodbye Man, I did it. I actually did it. I beat the game! Just like in Dragon Quest and EarthBound, now that the final boss has been beaten everybody has something new to say. Oh. All of the Idolaspheres are gone. If there's one thing the Epilogue has taught me it's this: All the ladies love Itsuki. All that's left for me to do now is to enter the Bloom Palace. Here we go! The Mirages are going to return to their own world now that there's no real reason for them to stay here. And there's a "Where are they now?" thing after the credits. Sweet. Itsuki becomes the President of Fortuna Entertainment?!
Say what?! And that was Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE. Overall, I'd have to say that I enjoyed it. It certainly wasn't as serious as Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei are but I don't think it needed to be. It was fun game that had elements from both FE and SMT and still managed to have quite a challenging aspect to it. If I had to rate it I'd say at least play through the first 2 chapters before you pass judgement on it.

I was wondering if this was the game with that song. XD

Aha! It took me months but I finally figured out who the store clerk at the Anzu costume store reminded me of! She's Cath from Fire Emblem: Binding Blade!
So it looks like the other FE games did get representation just in the form of really minor NPcs and in-name only weapons.

Got bored so I decided to check out Doki Doki Literature Club. I'm getting Eversion vibes from the warning message before the title screen. Look, as long as this VN doesn't have me being chased by a wall of hands I should be fine with it. "Yeah, I'm gonna join the anime club." Well that was fast. VN over already? And this is why you should always read the fine print. You never know what that free meal might cost ya in the long run. XD "All words escape me in this situation." "This club..." " ...is full of incredibly cute girls!!" Calling it now. At least one of the 4 female characters that have been introduced so far is fucking nuts. Cat themed cupcakes. How cute. ...
Oh god! This VN is so gonna go down the "cute but slowly goes creepy" route isn't it? Oh no. Natsuki is a tsundere. A clichéd one at that. I think the Player character recognises this as well... I realise I haven't done a roll call yet. Here's the cast: From left to right: Natsuki, Yuri, Sayori, and Monika. I still reckon that at least one of them secretly crazy. Yuri: Stories with deep psychological elements usually immerse me as well. Not gonna lie, that's the type of literature that usually keeps me engrossed as well.

Natsuki's tsundere levels are rising. By the way, have I ever mentioned that I'm not a fan of tsunderes? Because I'm not a fan of tsunderes. Monika: Let's all go home and write our own! I mean, what could possibly go wrong? (She's talking about poems by the way.) "I never said I would join your club!" Aww crap. Guilt tripping. If this wasn't a VN I'd get right out of there but I don't think I have a choice in the matter anymore. Well that was the plan until the clichéd "cute girl guilt trip" kicked in... And pissing off a Tsundere is always a plus in my book. XD Ooohhh... Interactivity. And not just limited to a "pick a path" type of interactivity. It's poem writing time! Okay then. I have no idea who this poem is gonna appeal to more. I think all 3 of them did the jumpy thing a near equal amount of times. I'm not surprised she does. Despite being your typical tsundere she didn't show some signs of being geeky. Maybe that's why she's a tsundere? She wants to play the part and get a love interest? Sayori: Don't worry, guys~ Foxy always gives his best as long as he's having fun. He helps me with busy work without even asking. Like cooking, cleaning my room... Yuri: How dependable... Foxy: Sayori, that's because your room is so messy it's distracting. And you almost set your house on fire once. Great. Sayori is just like my brothers. I'm still surprised that they can find stuff in the mess that they live in. Oh. Did I end up on the the Yuri (the character, not the femslash type pairing) path? I don't think you even shown any thought in this VN so far.

Huh. Guess I'm on the Sayori path then. Yeah. Totally on the Sayori path. I guess that's what happens when you pick choices at random. (He's buttoning up her blazer by the way.) Looks like the last button on the blazer won't close. I'll give you 2 guesses as to why. XD And then she just out and says it. Sayori gives no fucks. XD Time to pick an option. And I'll pick... Eh, Monika I guess. She was the only one not on that poem writing minigame. What could possibly go wrong? Foxy: Alright...I'll keep that in mind. "Of course I'll be afraid to bring things up." Yeah, the VN is heavily implying I ended up picking the Sayori path. Let's see how this plays out then. So let's read Monika's poem then. Huh. I don't get it. The MC agrees with me by the looks of it. Guess I'll show my poem to Sayori next. Sayori: I love it! You must be an amazing writer. Foxy: Actually I have no idea what I'm doing. Sayori: Well that's good because I actually have no idea what I like! Well then.

Ah yes. The rare moments where my nickname ends up making a sentence more amusing than it should be. XD And now it's time for Sayori's poem. You know, if it didn't say "Sunshine" in the title I would of guess that it was a romance poem. Yuri's poem: Feels kinda artsy. Time for the tsundere. According to Yuri she happens to be biased when it comes to reviewing. Well it's time for Natsuki's po- Pffttt... I probably shouldn't laugh but that was not what I was expecting. XD
