Hey, so this is a little late, but since I haven't noticed anyone talking about it today, we're here to discuss the newly-announced Pokémon Go.

For those who haven't seen the news, Pokémon Go is going to be a mobile app for Android and iPhone coming out next year where you can catch, trade, and battle Pokémon in an augmented reality. Basically, while you're walking around in your daily life, you can find virtual Pokémon anywhere!

The game will be free with various in-app purchases, but there will also be a little device called a Pokémon Go Plus that you can wear on a bracelet around your wrist or hook to your clothes. By connecting to your device's Bluetooth, it can detect Pokémon and will let you know via a flashing light and a rumble. The preview only shows Gen 1 Pokémon, but it's been confirmed that the app can somehow connect with future games. If you want to see the preview and read more about it, go to Serebii.

Speaking of future games, the Nintendo Direct, besides noting Pokémon Go, mentioned we'd be getting a new game or games next year. We haven't gotten a sequel to X and Y yet, but they may be skipping to Gen 7. Nothing's confirmed yet, so of course this is speculation.

Well, for me, I want something like Pokémon Z to give Zygarde its big moment (also so I can name all my Pokémon after Dragon Ball Z characters).

I feel like it'll cause some uproar.

Especially like one comic strip I saw on either CollegeHumor or Dorkly.

First we can catch them ourselves by AR, then the next thing we know there's a thing called Pokémon MMO with DLC.

That aside, might be looking forward to it for nostalgia sake.
