Well, it isn't just that. It also feels really forced considering that the full DLC package was being offered BEFORE the game released (at least in the West). They were way too prepared, and that hefty price tag just feels... BS.

Lastly, the post-game of Echoes feels like a desperate attempt by IS to force the DLC on people. Seriously, the difficulty spike is through the roof, there is no connection to the plot, the post-game feels unnecessary, and the reward for beating this stupid dungeon is... well, nothing but personal satisfaction.
