Just imagine it. One night, you go to sleep, and the next morning, you wake up as a ten-year-old ready to start their journey through a world full of magical, fire-breathing, poison-spitting, lightning-zapping creatures you can catch for your team. Sounds pretty amazing, right? Perhaps, but then again, perhaps not.
A while ago, I created a thread titled "What if Pokemon were real?" This thread is very similar as we will be analyzing what our lives might be like if we lived in the Pokemon world. However, as much as we might believe, most if not all of us would not become Champions since playing a video game is not quite the same as living it. With the way the world is set up, many of us would probably have to take on different jobs usually taken care of by NPCs. That's right: we would be the NPCs.
So, to start this thread off, here's a topic to think about and discuss: If you were born and raised in the Pokemon world, what kind of trainer would you be or what kind of profession would you have? What would your life be like each day? If you had Pokemon, which ones might you have? Remember, it's not likely that we'd be Champions or Elite Four members or even Gym Leaders. Also, Pokemon Master is not a legitimate answer because it's such a vague title. So, I have a few links here to help with your classifications:

All right, here's my own answer: If I had to choose a regular trainer class, I'd probably go with a Pokemon Breeder, only because it seems like it'd be an interesting job as I cared for Pokemon everyday. However, if I could invent a profession, I'd probably go with a Writer class and write stories like I usually do. Either way, I'd at least have a Pichu by my side.
