I read the post of using his son and his wife never revealed, to avoid shipping mishaps but as soon as people see his "son" they will find similarities between the female companions, overall a shipping "war" per say might be inevitable

From the looks of things, the Unova saga should be done by next year, and since it looks like Team Rocket might possibly be out of the picture, Ash may indeed not show up in the next anime.

i would be total devistated if they replaced ash. everything started because of him. it WILL NEVER be the same if they do indeed replace him. all in all it will be a total disapointment for all of us. all i can say is that i dont want pokemon to end. if they are starting to get bored then might as well bring the old cast of pokemon *cough cough hoenn team cough*and make all of them and ash have a new adventure  or at least try to make ash grow up aka make him 15 and find a love intrest *cough cough May of course cough* |
