My friend has it. Went over to his house. Played it. Loved it.

However, Nintendo had to really accommodate for the 60 fps and sometimes it does dip to at least 59 or 58. It's not noticeable, but it is there. When it's 30 fps in splitscreen, you can tell the Wii U isn't powerful enough to handle everything at once. The amount of characters are decent, but not as great as Wii. The tracks are glorious and the music is easily the best.
